Banana Mint Ice Cream | Temple Nutrition

BANANA MINT NICE CREAM

Time for sweaty training sessions, tans, swimming and weekend beach trips! Also with Summer, comes ice cream. Try out this Delicious Banana Mint Nice Cream as a healthier alternative to your normal dairy ice-cream :)

Ingredients:
5 large frozen bananas, sliced
2 medium ripe avocados
Hand full of mint leaves
¾ cup cocoa nibs
Honey or Maple Syrup to taste (if you want it a bit sweeter)

Directions:
Add the banana slices and avocado pieces to your food processor and process until smooth.
Add the mint and honey. Process more so that the leaves are evenly distributed throughout the mix.
Now add the nibs into the mixture and pulse to mix them in. You can do this by hand if you'd prefer.
Scrape into a bowl and freeze for a few hours, or have straight away for a nice cold smoothie.

Voila! Delicious healthy alternative for when the heat is getting to much. This is a great treat for the kids. Enjoy!
